We are passionate about our craft and our connection to those early builders.

To recreate their original intent we preserve and restore the heartwood—still more stable and decay resistant than wood from trees harvested in the last 50 years. We locate and select for our clients:
- salvaged wavy and striated glass
- paint products
- old growth lumber
- chains and pulleys
- lifts and locks
- weather stripping
- storm windows
- and more
The result is a beautiful window that will continue to function for many decades to come, and add authenticity to your historic building.

Old windows are not a pane in the sash!
|
 |
| |
Your old windows may be drafty, rattle or refuse to open, close or lock. By combining historic materials with modern techniques, the annoyances of older windows can be eliminated. Properly restored windows will offer a significantly longer life than a replacement window. Adding a storm window to your primary window can offer the same energy efficiency as double insulated glass.

For home owners, management companies, owner representatives and architects who are planning projects, we offer our consulting services for condition assessments, group presentations and onsite informational workshops. We invite our clients to our shop to see the transformation of their windows first hand. Observing this process gives the client a greater understanding and appreciation for the hands-on craft of window restoration.
